Healthcare Design Expo & Conference

The premier event for responsible design of healthcare facilities, the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference examines how design directly impacts the safety, operation, clinical outcomes, and financial success of healthcare facilities. With an average of 4,000 participants, the HCD Conference is the best-attended and most respected conference on design for healthcare. The Conference is founded and produced by The Center for Health Design and Healthcare Design magazine. In association with the AIA. Association partners include the Health Care Council of IFMA (HCI), and International Interior Design Association (IIDA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), Nursing Institute for Healthcare Design (NIHD), The Institute for Patient Centered Care, and American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID). Up to 21 continuing education units can be earned from attending the conference.

(3:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.), is a comprehensive study session to help prepare for the EDAC exam by offering general information about the exam, the types of questions on the exam, a detailed review of the three study guides, an overview of the five domains included on the Exam Content Outline, a summary of key concepts and time for Q&A.

EDAC Exam
11:00 am - 1:00 pm OR 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
HCD conference attendees have the opportunity to take the EDAC Exam at conference and take advantage of a 10% discount + risk free offer - you can retake the exam once at no charge if you do not pass.  Register by October 5, 2015 to avoid a walk in fee, use code HCD15.

Here’s how: reserve your seat for the exam with your conference registration and then complete the exam application; use code HCD15 to receive the 10% discount (total charge for exam with discount is $319.50). Once you receive the "Notice to Schedule" your exam, you will need to select the "Gaylord National Resort & Conference Center" location on November 16, 2015.

 

*Those who don't pass will be allowed to retake the exam again at a later date for free. Exam must be retaken no less than two months and no more than 12 months after registration date.
