Kurt Johnson has over 35 years of professional photography experience. Beginning his photography career as a photojournalist, Kurt later moved into architectural photography, working for some of the nation’s largest architectural and engineering firms. His extensive travels throughout the United States and abroad provided the opportunity to photograph beautiful natural healing landscapes and botanical images. Combined with his innate understanding of the benefits of Biophilic design, his nature photography is now featured in healthcare facilities throughout the county, including the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Kurt has won numerous local and national awards for his journalistic, architectural and nature photography.
Carolyn Johnson left the corporate environment after 20+ years to lead sales and marketing as Principal of Kurt Johnson Photography in December of 2015, and is a passionate fit for the many hats she wears. Part entrepreneur, part nature lover, marketing and selling the photography that her husband Kurt shoots is a natural fit! Although a true environmentalist, her past experiences in driving sales and market share growth in both the advertising and technology fields prepared Carolyn for the challenge of the global footprint of Kurt Johnson Photography (KJP). She leads sales strategies and marketing efforts for KJP and deeply enjoys connecting with clients and industry professionals.
Mitch is a core member of the leadership team for the senior living market sector for RDG. He brings a quarter century of senior living, operational and development experience to the design practice at RDG. His role in strategic planning, programming, master planning is instrumental in the nation-wide, senior living practice for the firm. Mitch is currently president of SAGE and serves on the NFPA Health Care Section Executive Board.
