Rush University Medical Center sought to create a new patient experience tailored to the unique preferences of the residents living in the River North neighborhood while expanding access. They also sought to create a forward-thinking operational model with an emphasis on leveraging technology.

This webinar explores the impacts architects, planners and interior designers can have on the behavioral health epidemic.  While, as designers, we have little control over funding and other socio-economic factors that contribute to the crisis, but what we do have is the ability to increase efficiency for the caregivers with our designs and the ability to positively enhance the patients experience.  

ARCH Design was brought on by the Architecture, Planning, Design & Construction Department at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL to provide a suite of local nature photography for the Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion (APCP). The project encompassed 200 acrylics, custom framed canvases and prints, over 250 shadow box frames for patient and staff art, and hanging systems for patient art for each of the 189 rooms.
