When asked, “What are the Solarium Living Rooms you designed at MarinHealth in Marin, California, and how did you come up with the idea?” Jason shares, “When I was caring for my mother in the hospital, they always wanted her to get up and move around. And these corridors were a horrible experience. There wasn’t a place to go. And while at another hospital, I noticed that there were more people in the lobby that had IV poles attached to them, than those entering the building.”
