Dr. Ray Pentecost is the Director of the Center for Health Systems & Design (CHSD) in the Texas A&M University (TAMU) College of Architecture and holds the George J. Mann Chair of Healthcare Design.  He is a registered Architect, Board Certified in the healthcare architecture specialty, and a Fellow in both the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) and the American College of Healthcare Architects (FACHA).  He is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), a former Licensed Long Term Care Administrator, and an ordained minister.  In 2012 Ray was one of only eight individuals named to Healthcare Design Magazine’s list of “The Most Influential People in Healthcare Design.”  Ray is the Immediate Past President of the American College of Healthcare Architects, the Immediate Past President of the International Academy for Design and Health in Stockholm, and a two-time Past President of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health.
