Ellis Katsof is an Author (“Life 3.0” Protirement NOT Retirement” published in 2017 (available on Amazon), Consultant and Speaker on Protirement. Ellis is currently CEO of MyProtirement and a Principal with The Osborne Group.
Ellis is a highly accomplished visionary leader with 42 years of experience. After graduating with his MSW from the University of Toronto, Ellis worked in the non-profit sector and for provincial and regional governments. Ellis provided strategic leadership as a CEO for Pathstone Mental Health, Transitions for Youth and Eli’s Place. Throughout his diverse career Ellis has had the opportunity to develop expertise in strategic visioning and business planning, enhancing organizational effectiveness, developing social enterprise initiatives, fund development, public speaking, branding and marketing. He is results-oriented with proven success in strategic thinking and innovation.
Ellis has worked with disenfranchised populations throughout his career. Ellis published an article titled: Healthy Communities: Integrating Land Use and Human Services Planning - SCAN, Summer 1992, Volume 4, Number 1. Using the principles of Community Development and Determinants of Health Ellis developed a framework to integrate land use and human services planning and was invited to present this framework at a WHO conference in San Francisco and at an Environmental Conference in Australia.
Ellis is the proud father of three children and resides in Port Dalhousie, St. Catharines, Canada.
