Darren Batara

Darren Batara is a manager of nursing innovation and informatics at Stanford Healthcare, under the office of the associate chief nursing informatics officer. Darren manages a variety of hardware & software technologies in support of nursing and other cross-disciplines and has been an active support member to the new Stanford innovation center. Darren previously worked in the mixed ICU as a nurse manager and staff member, before transitioning to a role as part of the new Stanford hospital activation team. Current areas of focus include sustainability, mobile applications and monitoring, and technology-enabled research.
