Amy Carpenter, AIA, LEED AP is an Architect and a Principal at SFCS, in their Philadelphia regional office. Named a “Leader of Tomorrow” by Long Term Living Magazine, Amy has over 25 years of experience with the past 20 years focused on designing for elders. Ms. Carpenter has also been a leader in making changes to our Nation’s model building codes to better allow person-centered care environments. She was a member of the Pioneer Network Life-Safety Code Task Force and currently sits on the International Code Council’s Health Care Committee. Amy is a frequent speaker at national conferences such as Environments for Aging, Leading Age and Pioneer Network.
