Are you looking for a state-of-the-art process to help you develop an effective functional program? Thanks to the dedication of The Center for Health Design’s Environmental Standards Council we now have the Function Program Process Guide (FUNPRO). Join us for an interactive overview with one of the developers of the tool, Michael Pomarico, Architect NCARB ASHE.
 
The Functional Program tool provides an easy-to-understand guide for communicating an Owner’s project requirements to the entire project team, helps meet applicable regulatory requirements, and helps to identify how the physical environment can improve patient outcomes, staff effectiveness, and sustainability.

Mike Pomarico possesses comprehensive experience in healthcare systems architecture, and related support services. For 37 years Mr. Pomarico has performed Planning, Programming and Architectural Design services exclusively on healthcare projects. He has programmed, planned and designed virtually every aspect of the healthcare delivery continuum. He created HealthRisk Technologies, Inc., a software company dedicated to the advancement of risk management and monitoring of healthcare construction environments. Mr. Pomarico has mastered the ability to successfully integrate his experience, knowledge of codes and healthcare delivery processes into transformational solutions to ensure life safety and improve the patient and healthcare delivery experience.
