Murad Taani, PhD, MPH, RN is Assistant Professor in The College of Nursing at UW-Milwaukee whose program of research focuses on improving older adults’ self-management, physical function, and quality of life. He has been involved in inter-professional teaching and research related to aging, gerontological nursing and health promotion within the continuum of care, including independent and dependent apartments, skilled care facilities, and nursing homes. As a seasoned academic researcher, Dr. Taani recruits and supervises students and works collaboratively with community-based partners to carry out applied research initiatives, complete and publish contributions to the field, and conduct quantitative and qualitative studies.
