Sandesh Jagdev

Mr. Sandesh Jagdev is a founding principal at Logimaxx, a logistics and supply chain consulting firm. He has over 31 years of experience in supply-chain and logistics management in multiple industries. He has led development and implementation of innovative logistics, supply-chain, inventory optimization and facility planning strategies using Lean Six-Sigma process approach.

For the past twenty years, Mr. Jagdev has worked primarily as a lead consultant in the healthcare industry for supply chain, logistics, Integrated Service Center, and facilities planning support. Recently, he has led several facilities planning projects involving logistics automation delivering over $200MM savings for multiple hospital planning projects including a large hospital facility in North America. His consulting team members have also worked in various capacities in multiple industries with an average experience of 35 years.

His team has reengineered hospital logistics and inventory management operations in many hospitals in recent history. He also provided services as a key consultant for the development of an Integrated Service Center (ISC) model for Owens and Minor, a fortune 500 company. His work at Owens and Minor included development of dedicated multi-service warehousing and cross-docking environment for major IDNs. His experience is diversified in industries such as healthcare, beverage, chemicals, defense, manufacturing, service, hospitality, distribution, and many more. Solutions designed by him have typically yielded significant savings over baseline costs.
             
Mr. Jagdev started his career in logistics planning by participating in modeling and software development of decision support System for Florida Emergency Hurricane Evacuation Planning Commission as a graduate assistant at University of Florida. In the early 90s, Mr. Jagdev played a lead role in the design, development, and implementation of COLA II (Global production and distribution planning system) for The Coca Cola Company on Behalf of CAPS Logistics. COLA II is currently being used globally in 30 countries for tactical planning. He has over 12 years of experience in solution design and implementation of 3PL solutions.

Mr. Jagdev has a Master of Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering, Production Engineering at College of Engineering, Kolhapur, India. His work has been published on the subjects of hurricane evacuation modeling, inventory planning, automation planning, and reverse logistics.
