Shari Riley, MSN, BSN, RN, NE-BC

Shari Riley currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Nursing at the University of Kansas Health System. Shari graduated cum laude from the University of Kansas and quickly utilized her skills as a nurse in various departments. Her talent in leadership soon propelled her to several key leadership positions in the Emergency Department with the eventual focus on Behavioral Health. Her experience of over 20 years in nursing gives her a proven track record both in her clinical practice as well as in her ability to lead in the expanding area of behavioral health. Presently, she oversees 2 campuses: the new, state of the art, 47 bed Strawberry Hill Adult Behavioral Health facility, and the 84 bed Child and Adolescent Marillac Campus. She and her husband, Steve, enjoy living with their horses in the quiet natural surroundings of Odessa, MO. When she is not traveling, she enjoys taking in a Chiefs game or enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
