Barry is President and CEO of the Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS), a not-for-profit organization that includes University Medical Center of Princeton (UMCP) and entities which provide behavioral health, rehabilitation and home care services. PHCS also provides fitness and wellness, surgical, endoscopy imaging and behavioral health on an outpatient basis. PHCS is an affiliate of Rutgers Medical School and The Cancer Institute of New Jersey. PHCS has 401 beds, 3,000 employees, 45 residents and fellows and a medical staff of 1000 physicians. The annual operating budget is approximately $400 million and the organization ranks among the top five percent in New Jersey in earnings. The acute care hospital has Magnet designation and is ranked first in New Jersey by the Leapfrog Group for cost effectiveness, quality and safety and a top performer by the Joint Commission. The hospital also ranks in the top 1% of hospitals across the country in patient satisfaction. Becker’s Hospital Review named UMCP one of the 100 Great Hospitals in America.
Before joining Princeton HealthCare System, Mr. Rabner was a senior executive at Main Line Health, Inc., which included three acute care hospitals, an acute rehabilitation hospital, a long-term care facility, ambulatory care satellites and a research institute in the Philadelphia area. Mr. Rabner also served as Senior Vice President of strategic planning for Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia.
