    The expansion of SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-Lake St. Louis not only added 84 new beds, but also transformed the campus into a welcoming, hospitality-inspired setting that enhances the patient and staff experience. The new 3-story patient tower overlooks Lake St. Louis, which also provided the architecture firm Lawrence Group with inspiration for the interior design.

    ARCH Design was brought on by the Architecture, Planning, Design & Construction Department at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL to provide a suite of local nature photography for the Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion (APCP). The project encompassed 200 acrylics, custom framed canvases and prints, over 250 shadow box frames for patient and staff art, and hanging systems for patient art for each of the 189 rooms.

    Park View Tower stands at the crossroads of a dynamic urban neighborhood and Forest Park, a St. Louis destination for nature and culture. Research in Evidence Based Design informed the decision to maximize park views in the private patient rooms, while the natural finishes reinforced the connection to the outdoors.     Page has a long-standing relationship with Houston Methodist and has worked on numerous projects including the master plan for their west campus, a 474,000 SF hospital and several medical office buildings. Recent renovation projects include their 12,000 SF outpatient imaging department in the Houston Methodist West Hospital that supports numerous modalities including MRI, CT, Pet/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Density testing and interventional radiology.

    The UW Hospital and Clinics Authority is a progressive client, especially in developing state of the art, community based cancer services as well as the latest cancer research and technology. Zimmerman Architectural Studios has completed a Radiotherapy Center, a full service, community based ambulatory care facility, a consolidation of the University Sports Medicine Center and is currently completing a large translational and interdisciplinary research facility for UW.

    Natural light permeates the interiors of the acute care hospital in the public areas, patient rooms, operating rooms, PACU and at the ends of the patient corridors. A Gold-Level LEED Certified Healthcare Facility, the hospital is the centerpiece of the 28-acre campus that also includes a medical office building.
