When the new Women’s Clinic at Grady Hospital opened its doors in late 2017, more than a renovation was unveiled. A complete transformation of operations and processes influenced planning of the 28-exam room clinic, designed to improve the patient experience and provider efficiency. A unique opportunity arose due to the integration of two separate academic teaching clinics. The clinics had been working in adjoined spaces for decades with their own distinct processes.
