Share Our Stage
One of the questions we’re most frequently asked when we’re out and about is “How can I be a presenter or panelist in one of your Center webinars, workshops or conference sessions?”
I couldn’t get the numbers out of our marketing department on such short notice, but in a rough calculation we estimated we’ve produced for over 1,500 Center educational events, selecting and sharing our global stage with more than 3,000 industry thought leaders and experts over the last 30 years.
Wow – even I was a little shocked at those numbers, and I’ve been here for all of them!
I’m excited to announce two tremendous opportunities for members of our community – architects, designers, healthcare providers, researchers, educators, clinicians, policy makers, solution providers and others – to share their stories, experiences, expertise and ideas to help advance healthcare design’s role in improving health, safety and business outcomes.
Present in our Learning Track at the 2025 PDC Summit
As part of our new collaboration with ASHE, the AHA and the PDC Summit, we are producing and selecting presenters for a 24-session Learning Track – Research, Education and Outcomes – for the 2025 PDC Summit.
This is a new and unique opportunity for many in our community to get in front of a new and larger contingent of healthcare provider executives and facilities professionals. Over 60% of ASHE’s membership come from healthcare facility management, operations and administration, with 78% holding director, manager or c-level positions.
Learn more and submit your proposal to us before the May 31 deadline.
Answer The Center’s Request for Expert Talent
Here’s your opportunity to share our global stage and connect with our greater healthcare design community of 30,000+.
Start with a simple online submission of your background and presentation ideas. As we look to plan webinars, fill expert panels, or engage subject matter experts for virtual and in-person learning events, or for topical written content, we’ll contact prospects who match our event criteria to develop a more detailed abstract.
Learn more and then tell us you’re interested. This is a rolling process so you can submit any time.
We can’t wait to hear from you!
Be Well,

Converting Retail Spaces into Health Care Facilities
|
As the health care field continues to evolve into a consumer-focused platform, many health systems and providers are seeing significant advantages in converting vacant former retail spaces into state-of-the-art health care spaces. These former big-box stores and grocery stores are in neighborhoods that lack easy access to care and offer ease of access to patients, visibility and existing parking infrastructure. They also already have established infrastructure that can be easily converted to an ambulatory care function.

More facilities have begun incorporating technology in the early stages of the design process, planning for how these elements will evolve over time. Healthcare Facilities Today recently spoke with Matthew Griffith, VP, Director of Healthcare Division at Barge Design Solutions on how designers can provide a safe and efficient facility as technology continues to grow.
