Cincinnati Children's is planning to build a $75 million, 232,000 square foot freestanding pediatric community facility 25 miles north of its base hospital. It is currently planned to be hospital and ambulatory care center, with an emergency department sized for 50,000 annual visits; six operating rooms with capacity for another two; imaging capacity, including MRI with sedation, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy; and expanded surgical and medical clinics. The design team is BHDP Architecture and Karlsberger Architects.
