Banner Estrella Medical Center, the newest facility in the Banner Health network, serves the growing western metro Phoenix area. The 172-bed, full-service hospital features all private rooms, the flexibility of acuity adaptable rooms, living areas for families, electronic medical record with computer-assisted physician order entry, and state-of-the-art clinical systems.
Unique in design, Banner Estrella balances the science of medicine with a healing environment where soothing colors, natural light, vivid gardens, a meditation chapel, and massage therapy rooms create a holistic ~ mind, body and spirit ~ healthcare experience. Outcomes of the model, which include expectations for improved patient safety and decreased medical errors, are being measured as part of its Pebble Project.
