Architects and designers are seldom formally educated in project finance, and to compound that gap, fewer have become fluent in the various complexities of healthcare finance.  When clients talk about EBDIT, those in the design community privately ask Google or Siri.

This first of a four-part series is designed to close that knowledge gap and empower architects and designers to develop a basic fluency in healthcare finance, and in subsequent sessions discover direct applications.  We also recognize that most in the design community are not wired to think like a CFO, so this session will not be recitation of algebraic formulae, but how they are practically applied through group interaction and active problem-solving.

Subsequent sessions will focus on leveraging basic knowledge to acquire the right financial metrics to help win future projects, measuring efficiencies and their financial impacts, and lastly, continuing the diligence through project delivery.
