Exam Scores Taking the Exam Once you complete the examination at approved testing centers, you will be instructed to report to the examination proctor to receive your score report. Your score report will indicate a "pass" or "fail." Your pass/fail status is determined by your raw score. Additional detail is provided in the form of raw scores by major content category. A raw score is the number of questions you answered correctly. If you pass you will become an EDAC Accredited Individual and within 6 weeks you will receive an information packet, which will include information on accessing tools and resources from CHD. You will also be able to use the appellation EDAC after your name and you will be recognized on the EDAC website as an accredited EDAC accredited individual. If you do not pass the exam, you are eligible to re-take the exam immediately after the first attempt. A new, complete application and second time fee of $205 are required to re-apply. Visit the AMP website to learn more about re-taking the examination. Cut Score/Passing Score: The passing score, or cut score for the exam is a 79. This means that those who study for the exam using the Study Guides, DCO, and perhaps attending a study group, will have a 93% chance of passing the exam. |
